Built & shipped.
01 — Selected workAccount-locked digital magazine platform: a custom in-browser flipbook reader with no exposed file, dual-layer forensic watermarking, signed-URL streaming, and webhook-granted ownership, all under an aggressively experimental front-end.
My own client-operations platform: per-client health and analytics, invoicing, and service tracking on my side, with a live client portal showing project phases synced from GitHub, site health, invoices, and an AI project assistant.

In progress. More details soon.
Proof, not promises.
02 — Trust“Before Yasser, we were missing a key element: a functioning website that we own. He built us a site that exceeds expectations, with features special only to our organization, and he's been a dedicated partner through every small fix.”
“Spiral Corner didn't have a functioning website. He built the entire platform, including a secure system for selling and protecting our digital issues, and it came out better than we imagined. Smooth to work with and genuinely efficient.”
What I do.
03 — ServicesRegistration & workflow systems
Replace the forms, spreadsheets, and WhatsApp chains running your operation. Registration pipelines, admin dashboards, role-based access. Built so your team can run it without you in the loop.
Digital storefronts & product delivery
Sell and deliver digital products online: gated access, secure file delivery, payment integration that actually works in Lebanon and the region.
Automation & AI integration
Cut out the repetitive work: n8n and API automations, AI agents for support and internal ops, chatbots wired into your actual data. Built to save hours, not add another dashboard to check.
One-off build, ongoing retainer, or a full platform — every project starts with a discovery call to scope it properly.
How I build.
04 — StandardsOptimization isn't a box I tick at the end. It's closer to a compulsion. I genuinely can't ship something I know could be tighter, faster, or safer, so the parts you don't see get as much attention as the parts you do.
Security
A typical build
Auth bolted on late, API keys exposed to the browser, no rules on who can read what.
How I build
Row-level security on every table, secrets kept server-only, and locked-down file access where the data is sensitive.
Search & discoverability
A typical build
Rendered in the browser, no structured data, so the page arrives almost empty to Google and AI search.
How I build
Server-rendered HTML with a full structured-data graph, canonical URLs, and a sitemap. Crawlable from the first visit.
Performance
A typical build
Ships whatever the framework hands you and hopes it's fast enough.
How I build
Images optimized and sized, client-side JavaScript kept lean, and the result measured rather than assumed.
Data integrity
A typical build
Trusts whatever the form sends and writes it straight to the database.
How I build
Every input validated at the boundary (forms, URLs, webhooks, environment) before it's allowed anywhere near your data.
Ownership
A typical build
The site lives on the developer's accounts and you can't leave.
How I build
Everything handed over on your own accounts, documented, so the project is fully yours when we're done.
How I work.
05 — ProcessDiscovery call
We spend 30 minutes on a call. You walk me through what you need, I ask the questions that matter, and we figure out together whether this is the right fit.
Design & build
I send a short spec so you know exactly what gets built. Then I build it, with regular check-ins, no disappearing acts, and no surprises at the end.
Launch & handoff
We go live together. I hand you full access to everything, walk you through how it works, and stay available for questions after launch.
Common questions.
06 — FAQI’m Yasser Helbawi, a full-stack engineer and CS student in Beirut. Freelancing since 2022: personal projects first, production client platforms since 2024.
I take web products from architecture to deployment: authentication, secure storage, payments, and the unglamorous details that make software hold up in production. Along the way I’ve taught web fundamentals to 50+ students through my university’s CS Community.
